Explosion Near Red Fort Sparks Panic
A powerful explosion occurred in a Hyundai i20 car near Red Fort Metro Station at 6:52 pm on Monday, killing nine and injuring twenty. The blast scattered debris and wrecked cars across the area.
High Alert in Delhi
Police Commissioner Satish Golcha confirmed the explosion occurred in a slow-moving car halted at a traffic signal. Twenty fire engines, anti-terror squads, and forensic teams reached the site. The NIA and Special Cell have begun investigations.

Link to Faridabad Explosives Seizure
Earlier in the day, J&K Police recovered 3,000 kg of explosives from Faridabad, including ammonium nitrate traced to a terror module. Forensic experts are checking if similar material was used in the Delhi blast.
PM Modi, Amit Shah Respond
Prime Minister Narendra Modi reviewed the situation with Home Minister Amit Shah and extended condolences. Shah visited the site late evening to assess the damage.

One Suspect Arrested
