RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav on Thursday congratulated Nitish Kumar after he was sworn in as the Chief Minister of Bihar for a record tenth time. He also extended best wishes to all newly inducted ministers in the state cabinet.
“Hope New Government Fulfils Promises”
In a statement shared shortly after the oath-taking ceremony at Patna’s Gandhi Maidan, Tejashwi Yadav conveyed “heartfelt congratulations” to Nitish Kumar and expressed hope that the new administration would deliver on its commitments.
He said the people of Bihar expect “positive and qualitative changes” and will look forward to the government fulfilling the promises made ahead of its formation.

Grand Oath Ceremony Held at Gandhi Maidan
Nitish Kumar, president of the JD(U), was administered the oath of office by Governor Arif Mohammed Khan. The event was attended by prominent leaders including Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah, BJP president JP Nadda, and Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan.
PM Modi Congratulates New Ministers
Prime Minister Modi congratulated all newly sworn-in ministers, stating that the new team would “take Bihar to new heights.” He received loud applause when he twirled his trademark ‘gamchha’ at the end of the ceremony.

Top NDA Leaders Attend Event
Several chief ministers from NDA-ruled states, including N. Chandrababu Naidu, Yogi Adityanath, Devendra Fadnavis, Himanta Biswa Sarma, and Delhi CM Rekha Gupta, were present. BJP leaders Samrat Choudhary and Vijay Kumar Sinha also took oath, continuing their roles as key members of the state government.
