Chosen as JD(U) Legislature Party Leader
Earlier in the day, the Janata Dal (United) chief was unanimously selected as the leader of the JD(U) legislature party during a meeting of newly elected MLAs at his official residence, 1 Anne Marg.

State minister Shrawon Kumar confirmed the development, stating:
“Nitish Kumar has been chosen as JD(U)’s legislature party leader by the newly elected MLAs.”
