Samrat Choudhary Gets Home Ministry
In a notable departure from tradition, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar—who has historically retained the Home Ministry—has handed over the crucial department to BJP’s Samrat Choudhary, now Deputy Chief Minister and the party’s legislative leader.

BJP Gains Several Powerful Departments
BJP’s Vijay Kumar Sinha, the deputy leader in the Assembly, has been given the Revenue and Land Reforms Department along with Mines & Geology.
Senior BJP leader Mangal Pandey retains the Health Ministry and additionally heads the Law Department.
State BJP president Dilip Jaiswal has been allotted the Industries portfolio.
